This is one of my recent paintings.

I really like the way it turned out and I intend to exhibit it in some upcoming exhibitions.

My favourite subjects revolve around water... seascapes, yachts, tall ships, reflections, waves, beaches and lakes.

Hello everyone out there!

My name is Chris and I live on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.

I have been very keen on art for years but am very new to blogging!

I intend to build up this site gradually and will have to learn the protocol and procedures.

My passion at the moment is oil painting, after working in watercolours for about 5 years.

I am attending Sunshine Coast TAFE College 2 days a week learning painting and drawing.

After attending one semester of this course my art knowledge and technique has improved heaps and I have met many fantastic like minded people who share a love of art and the opportunity to broaden their knowledge base.
